Suzuki piano Teacher training
Aubrey Faith-Slaker offers comprehensive teacher training in the Suzuki Method of Piano study through immersive apprenticeship programs and online courses. Local groups meet regularly for in-depth, extended training, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Online courses are weekly, conducted over Zoom, and offer a personal and comfortable learning experience from the convenience of your home or studio. Upon completion of all course requirements, participants’ training will be registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. teaching Strategies — Suzuki Piano
Teaching Strategies is a practical, hands-on workshop for turning good ideas into reliable weekly wins. We focus on one-point lessons, clear sequencing, language, parent-friendly practice plans, and deep changes you can use the very next day.
Each session includes personalized feedback on a short lesson clip you bring (8-10 minutes). We learn from one another’s teaching in a supportive, collegial space—refining tone, pacing, reading, and language with students and parents.
This course is designed for piano teachers working within (or curious about) the Suzuki approach. Newer and experienced teachers are both welcome.
